Welcome to Evergreen Care Solutions where compassionate care meets professionalism. Our founders, Maria and Laura, bring a wealth of experience to the table, ensuring that your loved ones receive the highest quality of care.

Maria Jumanca, RN, received her nursing degree in Romania and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare services. She worked as a pediatric nurse in Romania for 10 years and as a registered nurse on the cardiac floor at Overlake hospital in Bellevue for 5 years. Maria now runs Canyon Park Adult Living and Kenmore Retreat where she and her husband have been providing quality care for elderly since 1999. Additionally, Maria was a member of the advisory committee for DSHS in Olympia for 4 years. She dedicates herself to educating the public about Adult Family Home industry and adult health care.

With a solid foundation in the banking industry, Laura Romanschi developed a keen understanding of financial management, which is crucial in running a successful business. As a seasoned social and medical interpreter, Laura has bridged communication gaps for countless individuals, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. This experience has honed her ability to understand and meet the unique needs of seniors, especially those who may face language barriers. In addition to her professional background, Laura is deeply committed to community service. She has organized and participated in numerous church events focused on the senior community, fostering connections and providing support to those in need. Laura brings a unique blend of expertise and heartfelt dedication to this mission, shaped by years of experience not only in the healthcare and banking industries but also as an Outdoors for All ski instructor. Working with individuals with physical and mental disabilities through the Outdoors for All Foundation has given our founder invaluable insights into the importance of adaptability, patience, and empathy.
